CME York 2006

Young singers, Conductors and Composers spent a week together getting to know each others, their sound and their music.

The choir learned to develop our work and our selves with guidance and empathic support from those with more experience and expertise than ourselves and from each other. Jane excelled in her conducting sessions and the choir were very proud. Plus, here was were the now infamous ‘Chicken & Rice’ song was created.

The week was an oasis of peace and beauty in a world full of conflict and suffering, reminding us how we can be peace makers.
