A Well-Deserved Break

It’s that time of year where everything slows down in the lead up to the summer and everyone is excited as its the start of a long holiday, but alas – no rest for Solid Harmony. They had a staggering four gigs lined up in July alone! However they still managed to have some “Choir Time” and hold their first Solid harmony Achievement Awards.

With the help of Jack Petchey Funding, the students were able to hand out certificates as an appreciation of their hard-work, dedication and commitment to the choir. The newcomers and musicians were not left empty-handed and were awarded for their integral contribution to the choir this year. Paul Watson was there as our special guest and said: “You guys have achieved so much and have grown a lot. I can’t wait to work with you all again!”

With the celebrations and partying over, it was back to work. The choir managed to perform at their gigs with gusto and pride and end the year with a bang. Pictures from the events at Forest Gate, The Credon Centre, Central Park and West Ham Memorial Park, so keep you eyes peeled.

Signing Off – Have a great summer and stay safe.
